Life was perfect when she became a mom. 14 weeks later, everything changed.

Ten years ago, Kellie Haddock and her husband, A.J., were celebrating the birth of their son, Eli. But on the drive home from the hospital, they suffered devastating crash that killed A.J. Meanwhile, Kellie was airlifted to a local hospital with Eli, who had suffered a traumatic brain injury.

A decade after that heartbreaking tragedy, Kellie came back Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children to track down all the men and women who had saved her baby — so she could thank them, one person at a time.

“There was a team of heroes that helped saved my son’s life,” she said. “And ever since then, I’ve dreamed of finding them and going back and thanking them.”
