Mohammed Alsaleh is a young Syrian refugee trying to change the world in his own way. He fled torture and imprisonment by the Assad regime, settling in Vancouver after being granted asylum in Canada.

As he rebuilds his life, he helps newly-arrived Syrian refugee families get settled — finding new homes, new beginnings and a new hope in the process.
