Teen raises $500,000 singing, then gives every penny to 5-year-old with rare cancer.

Many of us spend our lives trying to figure out our strengths and gifts — and then trying to use them in service of something bigger than ourselves.

14-year-old Abby Miller has already figured this out. She loves music, and she loves her friend Taylor Joy, who has neuroblastoma, a rare form of cancer with no known cure.

Abby sings YouTube videos of herself singing songs for Taylor, and plays at fundraisers and even on the street to raise money for Taylor and for cancer research. Dedicated to her cause, Abby has raised almost over $500,000.

Watch Abby perform at a middle school assembly, singing a song written by Andy Grube for Taylor. Taylor’s mom is the audience, as well, and listen to what she has to say about Abby…
