Co-workers buy car for teen UPS employee who walks 10 miles to work.

Derrick Taylor, a 19-year-old in Oxford, Alabama, has waken up in the middle of the night to walk five miles to his 4AM shift at UPS for over a year.

He helps support his sick mother, and the salary from his $11.90 packing job mostly goes to family expenses, leaving little left over for himself.

Derrick’s work ethic and dedication didn’t go unnoticed by his co-workers. Together they pitched in $1,100 to buy a used Jeep Cherokee. Watch them present the car to Derrick, and see Derrick’s stunned reaction below…
