Cops resuscitate man who died for 10 minutes…but 91-year-old’s first concern is his last promise to wife.

When 91-year-old Joe Leifken suffered a major heart attack, emergency personnel thought the worst: Joe fell unconscious and was in fact dead for 10 minutes.

Just before he faded, he had one dying wish: to take his wife, Margie, out to her favorite restaurant one last time.

Luckily, though, he was resuscitated. Despite the attack, Joe’s heart was still strong enough to live — and his return to life is a likely testament to the importance of social bonds to our health, especially as we age.

Some even say Joe’s love for his wife was what kept him hanging on, even during those fearful 10 minutes of death.

Joe eventually got his wish: he took Margie to their favorite restaurant, and is reveling in their long-lasting love more than ever. Watch them be adorable together below, and be inspired to some new #relationshipgoals…
