James Reiner knew he was speeding as he drove to the hospital in Chesteron, Indiana, in 2012. But he had a reason: his wife Dana was in labor, and she was begging him to just keep driving.
James was in a panic and called 911 while driving, and told Dana he was going to pull over. He assumed the police would help them getting to the hospital, considering Dana’s condition.
James got out of the car and had to drop to the ground, with the cop yelling at him and the sirens and lights still on. The cop had drawn his gun and cuffed James while he lay on the ground.
