Celine Dion’s duet with Andrea Bocelli, ‘The Prayer,’ is technically difficult enough for two singers to tackle. But Philippines-based Marcelito Pomoy is a gifted vocalist whose voice can span both the male and female pieces to astonishing effect.

What’s more remarkable is that Marcelito, who was adopted as a child, didn’t discover his particular musical talent until he was past his teen years. He eventually found fame on a national talent show, which gave him the break to pursue music professionally — and led to a reunion with his biological mother and father.
