11-year-old Kirsty struggles to fit in with the boys’ soccer team. When the coach tells her widowed dad that she’ll soon lose her spot, she struggles to cope with the changes in her life.

She feels isolated and alone, even as her dad tries to offer comfort and support. But eventually, she comes to terms with her evolving identity as a young woman.
