A sad woman sits alone in the park. Then, a complete stranger walks up and makes her day.

Filmmaker Justin Carlton tells the story of Samantha, a struggling singer who can’t find her voice recording a new song.

As she begins to record in a bathroom, she heard dogs barking outside. Frustrated, she walks out as her producer reminds her they have to finish.

Just then, her sister arrives. Samantha had agreed to go to brunch, but she cancels due to the workload. She hasn’t slept in days.

Her sister is angry for being flaked on, telling Samantha she can never keep a schedule — and she’s always busy with nothing to show for it.

Samantha decides to take a walk to the park. As she sits on a bench, an odd stranger — with a bike locked to his leg — emerge from the bushes.

She asks if he’s okay and they begin to make conversation. When he talks about waking up with a song stuck in his head, she help him out.

They break out into a song and dance, which reminds her of why she loves to create music. With newfound inspiration, she goes back to the studio to record her song.
