Filmmaker Sai Selvarajan creates a visually ravishing animated short about the bonds of family across space, oceans and time.

An unnamed narrator offers up a story told to him by a cab driver in New York City, about his relationship between him and his twin brother, now faraway from one another. One brother lives in New York; the other remains behind in India.

He and his brother work and save money to meet again, all in a faithful attempt to stay connected despite the distance.

Gorgeous animated watercolor paintings — done by the director’s wife Amanda — from the visual backdrop of the story, which told entirely through voiceover and evocative sound design.
